Answers to Common Questions About Our Mission and Work and Quick Guide to Our Programs and Processes

At AKO Alliance, we carefully identify children from underserved communities through local partners, schools, and community leaders. Our priority is children who want to be in school but are currently out of school due to factors like access to education, family income and living conditions.
Our goal is to ensure that sponsorship directly supports those who need it most and helps them stay in school.

Every child in our program is independently verified through their school and social welfare partners. For safety, we don’t share photos or names, but each child receives a secure AKO Child ID with anonymous progress updates you can track. We also undergo an annual third-party audit to confirm that all sponsored children are real and that funds were used exactly as stated, with the report shared publicly.
Full transparency for you, full protection for the child.

Absolutely! You’re welcome to sponsor as many children as you wish. Each additional sponsorship helps us reach more children with education, care, and hope for a better future.

Currently, AKO Alliance is in the process of completing all necessary registrations and approvals to make donations tax-deductible. Once this is finalized, we’ll share updates and provide the appropriate documentation for your records.

Yes, we do! In-kind donations such as school supplies, learning materials, and clothing are always welcome. These contributions go directly to the children and communities we serve. To coordinate an in-kind donation, please reach out to our team via hello@akoalliance.com for guidance on delivery and current needs.’
